The Organ in the Scheide Home

Dr. Scheide commissioned Walter Holtkamp to build an organ in the neo-baroque style for his home on Library Place in Princeton in 1954.

The Keyboards

This organ was a product of the Organ Reform movement in America. Its clear, crisp sounds is especially suited to the music of J. S. Bach and his contemporaries, music which Dr. Scheide dearly loved.
