Dear Friend in Christ,
My gratitude is with you for this vacation time you provide for me. Thank you so much for this time of rest and relaxation.
I look forward to being in some Church somewhere during the Sundays of my vacation, and I hope you will, too. If you are home, please continue to attend and support our Church – we have a wonderful lineup of Sunday speakers and musicians!

3. Thinking About September
Dear Friend in Christ,
September is just around the corner! This is a great time to think about our Autumn plans. If you haven’t been with us for a while, this would be a great time to make a decision to enjoy the many opportunities we have coming up for you and your family. Here are a few:
• Sunday, September 11th, 2016: Reunion and Holy Communion Sunday - Let's gather around the Lord's table and celebrate the presence of Jesus together. Pastor Tony will be back from vacation and looking forward to sharing the exciting stories of Jesus.
• Sunday, September 18th: Rally Day - Blessing of the Backpacks & Family Reunion Sunday - Registration and official start of Sunday School. "Blessing of the Backpacks" - Children should bring their backpack or something that they regularly take to school for a special blessing by Pastor Tony.
• Friday and Saturday, September 23rd and 24th: Rummage Sale - See our website <WelcomeChurch.net> for details.
• Sunday, October 2nd: World Wide Communion Sunday - Come celebrate Holy Communion with Christians around world. "One Room Schoolhouse" will be the theme during Sunday School Time.
• Sunday, October 2nd: Church Picnic - On the Church grounds after the 10:30 AM worship service – food, games, music, water balloons and “Name That Tune”. Bring the family – and it is a great time to bring a friend.
4. Jump Ahead for Summer! A Word from our Finance Team
Summer is here! That can mean travel, vacation, and weekends away from home. Your faithfulness to your estimate of giving is especially appreciated in these Summer months, when our Church still must meet its financial obligations. So, won't you consider "Jumping ahead for Summer," and fulfilling your Church pledge before you go away? Thank you so much!

5. Regarding Childcare During Summer Worship
Due to scheduling difficulties, worship-time child care in the Nursery Room will be suspended for until September. Parents are welcome to use the Family Room (directly behind the Sanctuary) and the Nursery Room, but children may ONLY be in the nursery room with their parent(s). Vy Willson, Staff-Parish
